Final MEAT event and Artshow!

For a long time I have been enjoying and showing artwork at a monthly San Francisco Club called MEAT. MEAT is a great place that celebrates industrial gothic music and culture. Finally however, after 8 years, It is time for the club to step down and move on to other things. This Month on September 23rd MEAT will be holding a final night event. Along with this will be the 6 annual Dark Arts Gallery.

I encourage all who are here to come and attend this event to see a fantastic group artshow. I myself will be showcasing a large amount of all brand new artwork that have not been seen by anyone yet.

These months are usually where I lay low and try to make time to finish some personal artwork and think of new ideas for the hectic times around the other parts of the year. It is always a challenge balancing all the factors of art, design, and business together.

This weekend I will be selling artwork and merch at the Artist Alley in table 278 at Fanimecon. Ill have the usual stuff as well as some new things this time around:

I will be bringing a new supply of the Cockblock Doll. If you missed your chance to get one the first time, I will have a a new batch for this show. Hurry, my supplies are limited.

I also have a limited supply of shirts, wallets, and one hat that I made. Many are in black and gold and I have a few shirts with my Meat Ghost Character on them.

While I was trying to get more backpacks out for sale, the ones I made were bought up immediately and I sadly don’t have any to show off for the con. Instead I made some new hoodies with artwork Emblem Fail in gold vinyl on the back. It is a basic black pullover hoodie with art on the back and my doll logo on the front.

Some fun recent stuff

While I spend my time getting ready for some upcoming shows, I figured I will update to highlight some recent creative things I have made recently and placed in my gallery portfolio.

Here is a small piece I did awhile ago Titled Hybrid. Which is part of my OOR series. It is made from black and gold foil vinyl on glass.

Here is a recent magazine Article I illustrated and helped design.

And lastly I came across an unused laptop messenger bag, so I hand-pressed it with my own illustration using gold and white vinyl. I plan to make some prints from from this drawing as well in the future, and the bag itself will be for sale in my upcoming vendings.

On the last friday of this month I will be selling artwork at Meat Vs Deathguild’s 4 year Anniversary at the DNA Lounge night club. As with all MEAT events I will be selling exclusive products that you can only get at this event. I will also have a wide selection of my usual stuff and I Should have a small amount of the new CockBlock dolls for sale as well. I hope to see you there.

The first day of Wondercon was already nice and busy, The next days are going to be great too. Thank you to people who stopped by my table to see my work. I will be going there on Sat. and bringing more CockBlock dolls

Wondercon coming and CockBlock Doll

Things are busy as I try to get everything in order for April.

If all goes to plan I should be in the Wondercon artist Alley at table AA119 this weekend selling artwork. Any support you can provide will be appreciated.

I will have lots of fun art and goodies for sale. I will also be selling the new stuffed toys at the con.

These are about 6×6 inches made of fleece. The handcrafted work on them is excellent.
I will have a limited quantity of them for sale at Wondercon. If you want to secure one you can still preorder one until the end f the month. As an added incentive, all preorders will also get a FREE BUTTON to go with their CockBlocks.

Lots of stuff in store for Stitchmind, but I will have to post later when things are less busy.

Magazine Design

One of the more interesting things I do in my Graphic design journeys is make a magazine called Gamepro. It is a Video Game media publication focusing on covering the latest news and topics in video game culture and life. Lately many of the articles have been needing something a bit more abstract in terms of design and theme. Recent articles not only feature my design skills but also some custom illustrations as well. Here are some examples:

It has been very interesting working on this magazine lately and I am learning a lot about the relation of artwork and how it coincides along with layout design.
