Final MEAT event and Artshow!

For a long time I have been enjoying and showing artwork at a monthly San Francisco Club called MEAT. MEAT is a great place that celebrates industrial gothic music and culture. Finally however, after 8 years, It is time for the club to step down and move on to other things. This Month on September 23rd MEAT will be holding a final night event. Along with this will be the 6 annual Dark Arts Gallery.

I encourage all who are here to come and attend this event to see a fantastic group artshow. I myself will be showcasing a large amount of all brand new artwork that have not been seen by anyone yet.
Visit www.dnalounge.com for more info.

Hope to see a few of you there.

Some fun recent stuff

While I spend my time getting ready for some upcoming shows, I figured I will update to highlight some recent creative things I have made recently and placed in my gallery portfolio.

Here is a small piece I did awhile ago Titled Hybrid. Which is part of my OOR series. It is made from black and gold foil vinyl on glass.

Here is a recent magazine Article I illustrated and helped design.

And lastly I came across an unused laptop messenger bag, so I hand-pressed it with my own illustration using gold and white vinyl. I plan to make some prints from from this drawing as well in the future, and the bag itself will be for sale in my upcoming vendings.

COCKBLOCK is coming!

cockblock

Many Stitchmind fans have probably seen my secret character COCKBLOCK, who has been floathing around in some imagery for some time now tantalizing you locals for with its cockish…blockish…ways.

For those that don’t know, CockBlock was originally a joke character, but due to pressure from Stitchmind supporters I eventually added it to my regular line of merchandise.

That was good, but now is the time for Cockblock to really shine! I am pleased to be unveiling a new section of creative stuffed toys that will soon be for sale.
To help with these new toys, I have enlisted the help of crafty fashion designer CreatureForm Whose alternative yet adorable creative style fits naturally with this design. We have been working together to create a strong series of high quality toys just for you.

At this time I will be selling two types of toys, the wonderful CockBlock, and Cashroom. Each Stuffed Toy will be handsewn and hand painted, so each one will be unique… made with the finest quality fleece materials and enchanted by twisted Stitchmind Voodoo for good luck in both fungal cat happiness and…Cockblocking. The size is 6×6 inches for CockBlock and 8×8 inches for Cashroom.

Here is a draft picture of Cashroom:

And here is CockBlock, I didnt have time to get a good shot of this toy for now (I will post a better one later). So the best shot I got is this one of someone using CockBlock for her Wildest dreams:

So how do you get one? For a start you can attend Wondercon where I will have a limited number with me. But if you want a fresh one you can head over to my Store section. I have setup a pre-order page. From here you can order one or both of these toys for a SPECIAL DISCOUNT PRICE, and I will send them out in April. Hurry, the sale will end on April 1st.

I will post more info on these new toys in time, but if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

OOR Series

One of my recent bodies of work I titled O.O.R. Which is short for Outcome of Residue, or also Outcome of Recession. The characters depicted in these pieces are meant to be bastard versions of past characters, as if an alien residue came from the darkness and tried to mimic that creatures it saw, but could not quite suceed. The pieces are made small which represents the ideal of a malnourished artwork that never “grew” to a large size. The whole theme is to communicate how one simple downturn in society can ripple along and influence all around it, even to the most far’fetched corners.

The pieces were recently on display in Haute Macabre’s Induced Epidemics Show at the Chaos gallery. Here is a picture they took of some of them:

Check out more of them in my gallery.

Some of the pieces are still available for sale, feel free to contact me if interested.
